A number of Italian Dire Straits/Mark Knopfler Tribute Bands (www.dire-straits.it)
got together to organise two fabulous charity concerts in aid of
Invisible and
Child Soldier,
two children's charities run by
Amnesty International.
The event took place on Friday 16th and Saturday 17th February 2007 at the Totem
Village (www.totemvillage.it) in
Velletri (Rome).

Chris White (Dire Straits sax player).

In the second night there was an
aftershow auction of various MK related items including displays containing
various MK memorabilia and photgraphs signed by Mark, a Fender Stratocaster
guitar (scratchplate signed by Mark) and signed CDs.

I am so happy that I took part in this FANTASTIC event, I spent two unforgettable days full of friendship, love, happiness and great music.
